Many of France’s greatest composers grew up at the keyboards of the organ. Thierry Escaich continues that tradition, as one of the great masters of our time. As organist of the Saint-Etienne-du-Mont church in Paris he is the immediate successor of Duruflé, as a composer he combines the colour palette of Messiaen with the power of Stravinsky, and as an improviser he is in a class of his own.

The concert lasts an hour and there is no intermission.
