Program

baroque ensemble Pratum Integrum

Kerzelli Sring quartet no. 1 | Georg Quintet for flutes and strings | Haydn Variations from Symphony no. 63 (arr.) | Tiez String quartet Russian folk music

The Russian classical music culture developed greatly in the Romantic era but of course its origins predate the 19th century: under the renowned Catharine the Great (1729-1796) St Petersburg became a dazzling mecca of music. This concert by the flamboyant Russian baroque ensemble Pratum Integrum is proof of that.
