Two rivalling families, aristocratic pride, envy, revenge and a fatal passion: Romeo and Juliet is a story that has everything. It has often been set to music, but never as compellingly as by Prokofiev. Highlights of his ballet music (including the iconic Dance of the Knights and the gripping finale) are preceded by the Third Piano Concerto, with Lahav Shani as conductor and soloist. Spectacular.
