Sibelius Kullervo

The hero Kullervo plays a leading role in the ancient Kalevala epic. His story of courage and fate inspired Sibelius to create a grand symphony, performed here with the best conductor, soloists and choristers imaginable (the eighty-piece YL Men's Choir!). If you want to know where Tolkien got the idea for The Lord of the Rings (or just want to get carried away for an evening), don't miss this concert.

Introduction at 7:15 PM by Michel Khalifa.
