Over Sheherazade

Seafaring adventurers, love-stricken princes, enchanted cities – with such exciting tales, spread over a thousand and one nights, Sheherazade managed to wind a cruel sultan around her little finger. Rimsky-Korsakov created a shimmering symphonic fairy-tale based on this Middle Eastern folklore. It’s a marvel of orchestral storytelling.
