piano Arthur and Lucas Jussen

Debussy Six epigraphes antiques | Dukas L’apprenti sorcier | Leo Smit Divertimento | Ravel La valse

The beloved piano brothers Jussen play an exclusive recital in the Gergiev Festival with an very popular repertoire. Known from the movie Fantasia, for example, L'apprenti sorcier by Paul Dukas, in which the behavior of a young wizard spirals completely out of control. Ravels La Valse derails just as spectacularly. The piece, originally composed for orchestra, sounds just as colourful and tempting when played on two piano’s.

The concert lasts an hour and there is no intermission.
