Late Night Concert: French chansons with old instruments
artistic director Arnaud Marzorati | baritone Arnaud Marzorati | bassoon Mélanie Flahaut | viola da gamba Étienne Mangot | theorbe Étienne Galletier
Georges Brassens was probably the greatest chansonnier of the 20th century. The ensemble Les Lunaisiens pays tribute to Brassens and shows that his music forms part of age-old French tradition: ballads from the Middle Ages and the Baroque era also feature in this late evening concert, all played on period instruments. A unique festival evening.
The concert lasts an hour and there is no intermission.
