After stepping down as our music director Yannick Nézet-Séguin will no longer be seen often in Europe. But he will continue his appearances with our orchestra, as honorary conductor. His first concert in that new role opens with Mahler’s searing Totenfeier, the original version of his Second Symphony. The main work is a rare performance of Shostakovich’s poignant and profoundly human Thirteenth, with Mikhail Petrenko as the best conceivable soloist.
Ticket sales for this concert will start on the 15th of May 2018. You can order your tickets now as part of a concertseries: Gold XL Thursday, Gold XL Friday, Majestic, Our Maestros or as part of a Flexible plan. You are assured of the best seats and on top of that you receive at least 15% off.
