Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in show Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light

The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Ilse DeLange and Duncan Laurence will take part in the international show 'Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light', which will air in 45 countries on 16 May in place of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 Grand Final.

In addition to spotlighting the 41 songs of 2020, the unique production will include special performances from popular artists from Eurovision’s past. The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra will perform an orchestral version of Love Shine a Light by Katrina and The Waves, the winning song of 1997. 

The show will be hosted by Dutch presenters Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley and Jan Smit. BBC Eurovision host Graham Norton and Dutch YouTube sensation NikkieTutorials will also make appearances in the live broadcast.

The live show is expected to last 2 hours. Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light will be broadcast live on Saturday 16 May at 21:00 CEST in The Netherlands on NPO1 and the Eurovision YouTube channel.
