Rotterdam Philharmonic plays during ceremony International Children’s Peace Prize
Sadat Rahman (17) from Bangladesh has received the International Children's Peace Prize 2020. He received the award for developing an app that teaches teens how to ensure their safety on the internet. During the award ceremony, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra performed the finale of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
The International Children's Peace Prize is an initiative of the International Children's Rights Organization KidsRights. The prestigious prize was awarded on November 13 in the Grote Kerk in The Hague. The International Children's Peace Prize is awarded annually by a Nobel Prize winner. The International Children's Peace Prize 2020 was presented by Malala Yousafzai, winner of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.
