Kavakos plays Mendelssohn

'Kavakos plays like a god,' wrote Het Parool about his CD with Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. “Technically superior to everything and everyone and musically overwhelming with poetry, rich in song and with a delicate, slender tone with a silvery aura, which arouses emotion especially in the slow movement.” Since that recording from 2009 the master violinist has only been looking for even greater height increased. Just listen.

  • You will need a good internet connection, preferably via a cable, but WiFi or 4G will also work.
  • You need a unique access link (a ticket). You will receive this immediately in your order confirmation email after purchase.

We recommend using a recently updated web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari. Check or update the browser in time before the online stream starts.

You can find more information about how to do this via the links below:

Pay attention:

  • You cannot cast to a Google Chromecast via your iPad/Tablet or iPhone/Smartphone. This can be done via a laptop by opening the link of the online stream in the Google Chrome web browser and then casting the tab to Chromecast (you will find this option in the menu, three dots at the top right).
  • For Apple TV users, this only works in combination with the Safari web browser.
  • It is important that the Chromecast/Apple Airplay and the device used are registered on the same WiFi network.

Yes, that's possible. Once a concert has become available online, you can view the concert at any time using your unique access code (your ticket).

After purchasing a ticket or series, you will receive a unique link, which you can use on one device at a time. It is up to you to decide how many people watch an online concert with, but we kindly ask that you do not share your unique access code (your ticket) publicly.

In most cases it helps to refresh the web page in the browser. You can do this by pressing F5 (Windows) on the keyboard or Command ⌘+R (Mac). Or use the icon visible in the browser (arrow) to refresh. Then click on the 'start online concert' button again and then on the play button.

If this doesn't work, check the following steps:

  • Check that you have used the correct access code to access the online concert.
  • Check your internet connection (use a wired internet connection if possible).
  • Check if your web browser has been updated recently.
  • Check if cookies are enabled in the browser.
  • Make sure the batteries of the device you are watching are fully charged.

The unique access code (your ticket) will be sent to the e-mail address you entered when purchasing your ticket(s) or series for the online concert(s), immediately after we have received your order and payment.
