He was chosen by the European Commission to go to Damascus National Opera for a collaboration with a Syrian / European ensemble and he played in the Camerata of Tirana at the International Music Festival of Calenzana (Corsica) with pianist Stephen Kovacevich as soloist. Meanwhile, Romain continues to play trumpet, with numerous artists from the Parisian pop / reggae / funk scene, and founds the band Les Gars Dans L'Coin. He also obtains his final diploma in Natural Horn Performance with the highest mark in CRR Paris. In 2011 he moves to Rotterdam to develop his skills with Bob Stoel, Martin van de Merwe and Teunis van der Zwart (for natural horn).
