The Rotterdam Philharmonic Academy presents a varied program featuring music for violin, clarinet, and much more.
Since the 2021-2022 concert season, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra has annually invited a group of top international talents to join the orchestra's academy: the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra Academy. Each season, these young musicians present a sneak peak of their talent at the Heerenhuys and Van Cappellenhuis. Once again, the expanding Academy will be performing here, with a program featuring pieces written for violin, viola, cello, double bass, as well as tuba, marimba, and bassoon.

We make the careers of young symphonic talent future-proof by inviting them to play in our orchestral family, coaching and teaching them, and giving them the opportunity to explore the future of symphonic music and the symphony orchestra. In their new playground, Rotterdam. Ultimately, we aim to help them kickstart their symphonic careers.
