To make things easy, we’ve listed the budget-friendly options for an outing at the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Of course, “cheap” is relative—what feels affordable to one person might be expensive to another. But we’ve done our best to offer some great ideas, ranging from free to €25. 1. Free Lunch Concerts

   You can’t get cheaper than this. Several times a year, our open rehearsals are accessible as free lunch concerts. During these sessions, our musicians rehearse for the upcoming weekend’s concert. 2. Affordable Evening Concert

   Concert prices are rising. Dynamic pricing has been driving ticket prices up significantly in recent years. A ticket for John Mayer can easily cost €100, and that’s not even mentioning Taylor Swift. At the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, you can attend a concert for just €25. This ticket places you in rank 4, giving you access to our organ ring—a unique spot with a stunning view of our conductor and orchestra. Tip! Be sure to book early, as rank 4 seats are limited and can sell out quickly.

3. Discount for young people up to 29 years

   A great deal for every student or twenty-something: you can attend all our concerts (except Harry Potter) for just €15 if you’re 26 or younger. And the best part? You can book seats in rank 2, 3, and 4! While others pay €67 for a rank 2 ticket, you only pay €15. That’s a low-budget price for a high-quality experience. These days, even a night at the movies costs more. Just outside this age group? Check out CJP. The pass is available for just €10 up to the age of 30 and gives you access to the same discount.
    

4. 50% Discount with Rotterdampas

   Maybe you’ve heard of it before: the Rotterdampas. A well-known name in Rotterdam and the surrounding area. The pass is available for as little as €5 for those with a low income. Every month, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra offers a concert with a 50% discount through the Rotterdampas. It’s an affordable outing, and the pass gives you access to even more budget-friendly fun throughout the year.

    

5. Go with your team, friends, or neighbors

   Make it a fun outing with your sports team, theater group, or colleagues. For groups of 20 or more, we offer a great discount on tickets.
