Mariana Vilela began her musical journey in Portugal with Professor Alexandre Correia. She later moved to Brussels and did her Bachelor with Professor Marek Kowalski. Mariana is currently in her Masters with Professor Yossif Ivanov and Professor Eric Robberecht.

She has participated in some youth orchestras like Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Encuentros by Dudamel Foudation and the Portuguese Youth Orchestra. She has also collaborated with the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra and La Monnaie Orchestra.
