Saray Ruiz Pulido, originally from Córdoba, Spain, began her viola studies at the age of nine. In 2019 she started her Bachelor’s degree at the CSMA in Zaragoza and in 2023 she began her Master’s degree at the Haute École de Musique de Genève under the guidance of Máté Szücs.

Saray has performed with several Spanish youth orchestras such as the JONDE, and has collaborated with a number of professional orchestras including the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa and Orchestre de Chambre de Genève. With a particular interest in contemporary music she regularly collaborates with Ensemble Contrechamps. She is a member of the ULYSSES Ensemble 2026, with whom she has performed alongside soloists from Ensemble intercontemporain. Saray is also a member of the MOMO String Quartet, with whom she has received several prizes and distinctions.
